A subject near and dear to my heart!
It is almost always windy around here. At the very least, I can count on a gentle breeze. The air movement is always sufficient to keep my towels from getting stiff.
The Mayor of Aurora, Ontario has launched a successful Right to Dry campaign. She is now pushing for the Government of Ontario to allow clotheslines to be labelled as a service or technology. Under that province's Energy Conservation Leadership Act, such a designation would allow people to override subdivision property agreements which ban clotheslines.
BTW, Lynn, I cheered out loud when I read your newsletter this morning. Well said!
