But I am looking forward to the blooming of the lilacs in my neck of the woods in a few weeks' time. And I'm dreaming and scheming about my victory garden. Over the years, I have built a succession of raised beds, and I hope to add a few more this spring. I'll be planting lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, green beans, onions, cabbage, sunflowers ... and whatever else catches my fancy!
