Kerri, that sound's like a bummer of a week. Hope things are starting to think about calming down. I'm sure you've read it, but if not, there's a book all about getting through the school appeals process - can't think of the author, but I'm sure a quick google will bring it up if you haven't seen it already.

Sadly our wreck fell through . We had the valuation done and it just turned up too many serious problems for us to be able to deal with. We simply don't have enough capital. Neither DH or I are big financial risk takers, so we decided that it was time to let it go. We're off to see something else tomorrow that's in need of redecorating and the kitchen doing rather than recreating from the bare walls!

I'm ticking along pretty nicely with housework and related activities at the moment. I'm trying to do a bit of a mini-spring clean before Easter guests start arriving. We'll have about three weeks of back-to-back visitors, so I'm hoping to give each room a bit of a thorough going over this week. Started with DD's room today. Next week I'll devote to more pleasant Easter preparations! Also, all of DH's trousers have developed matching holes at the same time, so I'm patching like mad.
