I knew I wanted that dark red color, I love that color and my kitchen linens are green with dark red apples, so it all ties together.
When I'd finished the squares and before I'd sewn them together I showed them to DD6 who said, "Mom, this is your best work." I think she's kinda right, this is the best fair isle I've done yet.
I'm so in love with this tea cosy it's pitiful. I made myself a pot of tea at 11:30 am today, took DD to her dance class an hour later, and when we came back from dance class (another hour later), the remaining tea was still hot! I'm in heaven and have been drinking two pots of tea a day all week. I seem to be eshewing coffee altogether now!
I was staring contemplatively at my teacup today, wondering how to knit a matching cosy...
