The flat sounds great! Can you get the fireplace working? I'd love a real fire, hypothetically anyway. In reality I suspect I wouldn't like the work I have a little gas fire with coals and real flames, so it's the next best thing. Don't need it really, as we have central heating, but there is nothing like a fire for cosiness.
