Can you make stuff with the formula
so that she's getting it indirectly? Like use the formula in porridge, pudding, or hide it in some way in other food?
When you thickened it, did you use a nipple with a larger hole? I don't know if that would make any difference, but it might have been harder to pull through?
If you're seriously concerned about her nutrition, I'd recommend consulting a nutritionist. I respect the medical knowledge of MDs but usually they are woefully undereducated in regards to nutrition. An RN who was also a certified nutritionist told me a few years ago that most doctors are taught nutrition very breifly in med school and from textbooks that have been very little updated since the 50s. Unless they educate themselves, like Dr. Weil, they're simply not as well informed as a nutritionist is.
