It's COLD!

We're in the middle of an Arctic Blast and the wind chill is hovering right arond -25 degrees F. Too cold for anyone to be out so we're off school today!

We had a nice, quiet afternoon and evening yesterday. DD11.9 and I snuggled on the couch to watch the Superbowl while DH and DD16 were working/playing on the computers. As soon as I heard there would be no school today, my ambitious plans for laundry and meal planning went right out the window, so I'm working on that today.

I was scheduled to have a pre-observation conference with my principal today with my first observation on Wednesday...I'm not sure how this day off will affect that. I guess I'll find out soon enough. The prep work is done and lessons for this week and most of next, so it's good either way.

DH was gone most of last week, he'll be gone 2 days this week...and he's out three days next week. Makes feeding us less complicated, but I just like it better when he's home!

Well, I totally need a shower so I guess I'll be off!
