can't be bothered
must be time to re-read the earlier chapters of Simple Abundance again to get myself enthused about clearing up because I've got vacuuming I was itching to do over a week ago (once my SIL and her long black hair left - there's enough hair left for a whole new person!) but somehow it hasn't been done yet.
I have a car full of stuff for the tip because we no longer have a shkip to chuck things in at work and my bins will not take the excess this time. But it was wet, windy and dark when I got home after collecting the kids today so it didn't feel any urgency. I'll go tomorrow maybe, since DH is back late tonight and can take the office while I'm out.
my decorations got put away though, and when the tree went away I used the area to angle the IKEA chair and squeeze in the newly found music stand and a small wooden stool for DD to practice at (and me!). It's in the bay window so it's well lit and because the music stand is up permanently it gets used. Nowhere else has space. Not many other adjustments have yet given me the pleasure that one has. Small pleasures!
Lenora - hope your dad's feeling stronger. I imagine he'll be a little fragile for a while with all of that trauma. Feed him up and coddle him as much as he'll allow!
Kerri.
