No, I realize that...
I realize that folks don't like to be told they caused anything...heck, I know I wouldn't want to be told I'd caused any of the problems I had. And really, if you think about it, even when you suggest something to your body, you are not the "cause", the prior situation could be given that title. Not that that is any consolation, I'm sure. Anyhow, the point of the article I read was that the person has to come to that conclusion on their own, and want to make the changes to heal. It was on the EFT website, and they stated that often, we don't know what we've done to ourselves. And, personally, I think my dad would do anything at this point (I almost used the cliche: he'd give his right eye, but then I realized that'd be too ironic.) to get his sight back. The successes in the article were what I focused on with them, and I'll let them read the other stuff themselves, if they choose to, if not, then not.
But, really, I just hope he takes it easy and gives himself time to heal, rather than jumping back to work as soon as he can see more than a silhouette. The doctor opted to do laser surgery this time rather than the slice and dice, but dad seems to be in more pain than the prior surgery. I was (and I think he was too) under the impression that laser would be less painful for him. It hasn't been, and the medications are making him sick. I keep praying the side effects of this surgery will wear off soon.
