And peppernuts! I make some every year to send out to my relatives. A very traditional Christmas cookie in my family. I have to say, if it wasn't, I'd never make them! They take an age!

Anyway, at this point we're mostly over being sick (enough that we're not contagious, anyway), the Christmas cookies have all been sent, the presents are bought (but not wrapped), and I have to go do the Christmas dinner grocery shopping today. My in-laws are in town, which is nice. In some ways their visits are actually less stressful than my parents'.
