Ingredients

  • 3c water
  • 1T butter
  • 1t vanilla
  • 1c sugar
  • 2T baking cocoa
  • 1T flour
  • 3c water
  • 1T butter
  • 1t vanilla
  • 1c sugar
  • 2T baking cocoa
  • 1T flour

Instructions

Combine sugar, cocoa and flour in a bowl and set a side. Heat water, butter and vanilla in a medium saucepan until boiling. Remove from heat and whisk in remaining ingredients. If you would like the gravy to be thicker, return to a heat and stir to desired consistency.

Notes

My family loves this on sour cream pancakes. It can be served on biscuits as well. You can also keep on the thin side and serve as a chocolate dessert sauce. It's great!
