it's very basic and generally considered to be an antique by those around me, but it has a reminders function with an alarm which is THE best. I've been considering the PDA possibility for years now, but I think I wouldn't really get much use out of it. DH has a phone which does the whole email, Microsoft thing, but he's on his 3rd stylus in less than a year and it's awful for making phone calls on.

meanwhile I love my phone and alarm because it fits in my pocket so I haven't always left it somewhere!
