Loved mine!
(notice the past-tense) but I, too have gone back to PC-and-paper. I had an HP Jordana for years, but then the rechargable battery died (post warranty) and I never had it replaced. It did last for 3 1/2 years of pretty steady use, and I suppose most people would "upgrade" to a newer model sooner than that. Mine would sync to my Outlook calendar on the pc, which I loved! I'm still using Outlook....but I'm back to printing my calendar pages for my (paper)planner.
Honestly, I missed mine TERRIBLY when first quit using it. I had gotten used to NOT hauling around a paper planner...LOVED the calendar alarm...I'd set it to beep to remind me what to take out of the freezer for dinner...things like that!
I never tried to shop with it, though...I kept menu plans and the grocery list on it, but printed a list for the store. I never could get completely rid of my paper-planner, though it did stay at home most of the time....I still needed a place to stuff receipts, etc. I was a hybrid-user, I guess!
Somebody.....Mike G or JJ, once linked to instructions for setting up recurring tasks (like flylady's), grocery lists etc.....anybody remember that?
