Jenny- how funny about the
Jenny- how funny about the hog, because we got 1/4 of one brought over on Thursday from DH cousin! They have also brought us beef from their cattle last year. I still have plenty of that too. I had major rearranging to do before she was to arrive, but managed to squeeze it all in the freezers.(the main one in the fridge and a small one in the garage) So for just over $100, we got 65 lbs of pork(chops, sausage, bacon, roasts, and ribs). Not too shabby.
WEnt to DH grandma's bday party Saturday. She turns 93 this week. The little cousins had fun running around with each other while the adults got to sit and talk.
I have been asked to give a 5 minute talk on Wednesday about LDA and how it has impacted my life. So that will be a part of today and tomorrow's PODA.

DS got his 1st qtr report card last week and made honor roll. Honor roll in middle school is anything above a 3.0 He sqeaked by at 3.1 It is an accomplishment for someone who has a reading disability and attends one of the most academically competitive school districts in the state. We are happy for him and proud of him.
Have a pleasant day guys
