Thankfully, my inlaws are literally my best friends. I can talk to MIL about anything, we share hobbies together, we shop together, road trips together, cook together. And my FIL is great. I enjoy teasing him and giving him a hard time, but we can still talk shop together. We can discuss what we are feeding to our cattle, or troubleshoot a mechanical problem together.
