Did you not read the warnings?

I gave not one but TWO warnings about the language in that link--one of them in capital letters. So apparently, yeah, you missed something. Smiling

There's been a lot of discussion lately about Halloween costumes for women--about how everything these days is sexy this and sexy that. You can't be a nurse, you have to be a SEXY nurse. You can't be a firefighter, you have to be a SEXY firefighter. That fake commercial was a great send-up of that trend, so I linked to it.

I don't link to nudity or overt sexuality, ever.

If you were disgusted by it, I'm sorry, but I warned you. I OVER-warned you.

In the site's editorial content I try to provide information and support for homemakers from a feminist perspective. In the blog portion of the site, the "Diary," it's all about me and what I find interesting, infuriating or funny. Occasionally, if something's of interest but the language is rough, I'll link to it anyway but I'll warn people, because not everyone shares my tolerance for language. That's what I did here.

Is this site wholesome? I don't know. I've never aimed for wholesome. I've never aimed for offensive. I've aimed for an accurate reflection of myself in the Diary section, and the concerns of my audience in the editorial section.
