Manners
Yup Shaun, that's what it boils down to. I am super guilty of letting things slide now and then. In fact just yesterday there was a message on my cell phone from a mom in DS's class. She was calling to verify my address so she could mail us a b-day invite. And I haven't called her back yet. I'm just as rude as the next. But it felt good to vent the day I was frustrated.
I did have one mom who RSVP'd the morning of. Asked if her son could ride with us to the party place (rock climbing gym) then never showed up at appointed hour to drop him off! DH waited 15 minutes for them. Never called to say why. I might think a terrible accident happened if I wasn't experienced already with this mom.
Sheesh! MANNERS! Now I think I'll go call the address seeker back. (Although I do think that is strange, she got my number out of the school directory where my address is also printed.)
