E-vites
My MOMs club has taken to using e-vites, and I know Creative Memories has its own e-vites you can use. It does help if people can RSVP at 6 am or 11 pm, if that's when they finally have the change.
But, that's no excuse not to RSVP. I know, people are just awful about it, and shockingly unapologetic. I've had many people tell me that they won't know whether they can come to something until the last minute -- now I'm sure that in some cases this is true, but really, how often? And then there is the person who didn't bother showing up, but would have, "if I'd known it was just a small party" instead of a big open house. Eh?
Manners -- don't get me started! I'm still waiting to be invited to do something -- anything! -- with one of the dozens of people we've had for dinner, brunch, etc. over the last few years. Hello, it's called reciprocating, being sociable!
