Believe me, even with these old computers on their way out, there's still no shortage around here! It should free up a lot of shelf space in the garage to get rid of them and their assorted monitors, though. I really don't know why they're all still here. Inertia, maybe. My husband did the file server thing, too, only he bought new for it. It really has been nice to have a backup of everything (especially as often as his computer seems to break!) He also likes to take things apart and save bits of them for future projects. He does actually do at least some of the future projects and is very handy at scavenging parts, but it does mean that there are boxes and bins of wires, motors, capacitors, and far more unrecognizable parts lying about in the meantime!
