we've had a break from the heat too
makes you appreciate the odd rainy day here and there because at least it gets cool enough to sleep at night!
Zillah, sounds like you need DD's train activities to be disposable somehow!
I've got an unspecified number of children playing sardines in my tiny house at the moment. I think it's probably 5 but it could be more. I'm not sure they've even got the hang of it yet because I can hear them all charging up in one go and finding the hider all at once. I just had a word, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves anyway so they may see this as a variation and the whole thing might last longer. It's a little bit warm to be outside so they were looking for indoor fun. Thank heavens for that pack of rainy day activity cards which reminded me of sardines when they were tarting to play hide and seek. My kids are much less sophisticated than most of their friends are used to, but they seem to have fun anyway because my kids so obviously don't give a monkey's about doin fashionable stuff, so the pressure's off and they can act like real kids for a change. With the front door open half the time it seems like others are joining the fun. Saves me finding ways to occupy my two n their own though, so I'm okay to work. It's getting a bit noisy but the phone's been quiet so it's not too bad.
Kerri.
