Thanks
for the new thread Lenora. Your DD's party sounds like a handful! Good idea to ask for donations instead of presents, keeps down the clutter level as well as doing good. D'you think I could move into your classroom? It sounds lovely
Kerri, I'm afraid the chances of getting DD to sleep on the train are absolutely nil! She doesn't sleep for very long in the car, and the only public transport she's slept on is the tube, hypnotised by the passing blackness on the journey out to my mum's
I've got some fuzzy felt, those crayon things sound good - I'll investigate, lots of stories and a big list of all the stations we stop at to measure our progress. DH commutes quite often on a cross country train, and he's amazed by the number of people who bring their children on train rides of several hours with NOTHING to do. Then they get surprised when they play up. (Need that rolling eyes guy here!)
Now, I've got some washing to hang out while its still sunny.
Zillah
