Ok gals, wake up!!
I managed to get a little more grass outside the yard mowed before the mower ran out of gas. Discovered that DH had took my gas can along with the 4-wheeler and trailer yesterday, so that was enough mowing for me I guess. So I found a bottle of Round-Up and sprayed it around on various weeds and grass growing where I didn't want it. Only for a raincloud to suddenly appear and waste that. I'm not complaining however, it rained on our crops, and that is a blessing (except for the farmer who had just sprayed a semi load of herbacide and was now wasted).
It's not my normal town day, but I need bread and a few other things. So we are off to the grocery store today. I have a few desk things to do first. And I guess I'll get to try out the 4-wheel drive on the Suburban. It rained all morning and has just now stopped and the sun is peeking thru. Tell me this, if it has been raining for a few hours, why does the weather still say 30% chance of rain today? Can't they say 100% because they KNOW it has already? Anyway, there are huge puddles everywhere! If the mail couldn't make it yesterday, it sure won't make it today. LOL!
