Container Gardening
for us this year as well. Our tomatoes are coming on pretty well, none red yet, but they're looking promising! DD has an enormous sunflower that she planted that looks as if it might flower soon. I think it's amazing, she's utterly unimpressed
The other main thing we've done this year has been herbs. Good ones have been basil, rosemary, lavender, winter savory, chervil, sorrel, thyme, oregano, chives, rose geranium. Those that need to work harder next year are oregano and mint. Miserable failures of the year are all my parsley plants, which have either been slug eaten or just plum refused to grow more than two inches high
I wish I'd done courgettes in grow bags this year, I miss their big cheerful leaves!
