Good for you...
I often speak to women shelters on such a topic from picking the right pieces at thrift shops to stretching those garments over time. For example, nothing updates a coat like new buttons. The more expensive the buttons look the more expensive the jacket looks.
Another thought is garment switching...find a friend who wears your size and you now have twice the number of outfits. Especially nice around the Holiday's to save on buying an expensive outfit for that certain Christmas party every year.
Scarf’s are another must...
Just thought I would have some fun sharing my thoughts. I have no problem with the clothes buying since I can sew and never am without a new project. However, no new fabric, that would truly break me.
