understandable :)
I don't have rattlesnakes, sand storms or coyotes to worry about. My chickens live in a sturdy "tractor" that, so far, no dog, cat or raccoon has been able to breech. Kaila Dog did kill two of them when they were pullets; they were in a flimsy temporary cage designed more to keep them in than Kaila out. She is so old we had no idea she could break in. The tractor also means we don't really worry about droppings; they get moved so often it doesn't build up. In fact it fertilizes the yard.
