Our dinner party was great! DD7 said it was the best day of her life. The friends we introduced had great fun talking to each other. And the food turned out great too.

I agree, AF cake would not be that hard to make, but I had plenty on my hands as it was! I figured AF cake would be the best thing to have non-homemade, rather than the entree or sides.

We may skip the Chinese and have leftovers tomorrow night -- if they survive lunch!
