so you are going to have to find a way to "live and let live". Fingers crossed nobody will find out the hard way that cosmetic surgery is still real surgery.

I can't even find the time or money to get a decent haircut so I'm obviously not going to be enthusiastic about wasting both on getting myself sliced and diced. But however nuts you think they are (and I'm with you) they're still your family and it's probably not worth alienating them over this. Quietly keep your opinions to yourself and stand your ground without being rude and they'll eventually get that you aren't interested enough to see the latest 'job'!
