Only reason for cosmetic surgery is for reconstruction, IMO

In order to alieviate pain, suffering, congenital deformities, reconstruction after accidents, these are reasons to have elective cosmetic surgery. To do it because you're too lazy to get fit...that's nuts. What on earth is back-tightening? No, don't tell me, I don't want to know. You're the one with the healthy attitude, kudos to you for jogging. Wish I could. Sort of.

TMI alert: I had breast reduction surgery because my gigantic bosom was physically hurting me. They took off six pounds, three pounds per side, and I'm STILL a size DD cup. It make breast feeding not so good, but I can't regret it for any other reason. That is the ONLY cosmetic surgery I will ever have done at this point, barring any freak accidents of a disfiguring nature. (Knocking on wood.)

No, you are not nuts, you're quite sane, Rose is right, it's the plasic surgery craze that's nuts. You can probably thank shows like the Swan or whatever it was for your families obession. Or the culture that spawned it. Shows like that are nauseating.
