Second that
I agree with 'Hata that you have to have a destination for the flattened boxes and packing materials and build clean up into whatever time you allot for unpacking.
Glad you have AC! Ours in churning out the frigid air right now. I don't like it that much, but DH can't stand humid heat, so I try to be tolerant.
My big church project finally wrapped up Sunday, I did a loose string Monday, and then had 2 "get-em-in-before-everyone-leaves-for-summer" meetings Monday and last night. Phew! My chair and I (I'm co-chair of the main leadership body at our parish) are ready to take a big break! Like a whole month . . .
(On a totally unrelated note, one plank in our pastoral plan is to hold a discussion of the role of women in the Catholic church. But standing up in front of the church on Pentecost, after all the Eucharistic ministers had been women, almost all the new council members were women, all the staff is women . . . I almost added, "And next year we're going to have a discussion on the role of men in the church! Where are they?!")
Sounds like almost everyone is enjoying the summer weather. Jenny, 104 just hurts to think about, even with a dry heat. Days like that we go into serious survivial mode.
