Just As Soon As It's Clean
It's dirty again! Aarrgghh! Durn kids.
TADA
all the laundry is washed, and most of it is folded
dishes done, but not put away
cleaned fridge
got groceries
planted flower boxes
put in a small kitchen garden
PODA
fold laundry
put away clean dishes
floors, they are so gross
plant deck planter flowers
find DD's other ballet slipper
pay bills
dinner: BBQ chicken, pasta salad with veggies
go to High school awards assembly
I put in 6 tomato plants and one pot each of chives, dill, basil, thyme, and rosemary in what is usually an annual flower bed under the kitchen window. I had to really enrich the soil first because it is the backfill of the house foundation (lots of sand), which I did with some organic composted cow manure.
I am really excited to have some fresh herbs and tomatoes this summer! I'm also very pleased with the way the window boxes came out. They have white geraniums, small-blossom purple hanging petunias, and bright red impatiens. It's a nice combination.
I have to pick up Dniece from kindergarten at 11 o'clock, so while the girls play this afternoon I will attack that PODA.
See you,
-Jo
