Monday here, too!
Plans for the day include:
Visit MIL
Pool with DDS
Dinner
Excavate dining room table which is still burried under laundry!
Two hours of sun is probably all our skin will take this early in the season, so I may come home and cut the grass, too. If that is the case, I'll set the DDS to staining the deck railing and lattice and try to get a coat on the deck itself after dinner. DH powerwashed it last weekend, but we haven't had 24 hours without rain since! The forecast says no rain until Thursday, so we'll give it a shot!
Zillah, the room checklists from OrganizedHome are a good place for task-lists, too. I printed out lists for the rooms that I needed, edited for the tasks I could delete and added a few extra to cover Gunnoe-specific tasks (like Bob the lizard
) and then set the weeks by considering what else I had going on! Of course, daily/regular chores had to be added so I generally used Mondays and Fridays for that. It's all about picking-and-choosing what works for you and your family! I have the advantage of having kiddos big enough to really do a good portion of the work...and that helps, too!
I need to head to the hospital, now, though, so see you later!
Blessings,
Lenora
