Swan?
More like Ugly Duckling!
But thanks, Kerri for being so sweet! I am managing to keep us fed and clothed...I'm not certain about "sane!"
Honey...I still use most of the ideas in that book: I keep my mission statement in sight (figuratively and literally); I keep a master todo list and project pages going, too. I don't have "housekeeping" as a project anymore, though, until/unless I start a major event (like the basement, which MUST be done this summer!) In that case, this calendar works great. I can delegate easily, too, and no one spends more than 10-15 minutes most days on keeping the house presentable!
We skipped church this morning. Our pastor is on vacation and I wasn't particularly interested in hearing the woman who was speaking this morning. DH went to hang with MIL so I've jumped on the "laundry-train" this morning. Bedding is ALL done and back on the beds (BOY did that need done!) and I only have one load waiting to get thrown in the washer....of course, the clean stuff is all stacked on the dining room table, but the DDS and I are sorting clothes today, too, and there's no sense in putting things away just to move them around in an hour!
I'm hoping the rain lets up by dinner time. I've got steaks for DH to grill for dinner. He's off to South Dakota next week....is there anything in SD?????
I'm beginning to get a sense of "myself" back. It feels good!
Love to all,
Blessings,
Lenora
