One more reason to love homeschooling -- I wonder what I'll buy myself! I figure between gym teacher, science teacher, Spanish teacher, regular teacher, and principal I send at least $65 at the end of the year -- that oughta be something nice.

Jenny, your 4-day week sounds like an awesome idea. I hope it goes well and catches on for other areas. I bet you'll love it. (Where I live, the home of the MN State Fair, school can never start before labor day, which is the day the fair ends. Other districts in the state have moved earlier, but not us!)

We may stay up late Wed. for American Idol. I don't follow it, but my mom is hugely into it, and she's trying to get DD7 into it, so I might let her stay up for the finale. Katherine has always been DD's favorite. My mom likes Taylor -- but then, my mom likes weird things. Hey, I'm her daughter!

Better put DD3 to bed -- and DD7 wants to use the computer for Chinese (first).
