LOVE them, read them....gobble them up! Find Lynn the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. They are (in order): Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, The Firey Cross, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes. All are out in paperback except A Breath... The heroine is a healer and the hero wears a kilt! The herbal/medical details and Scottish folklore might slow her down enough to get a couple of days out of each book!
