I really feel that you have to come with a certain openness to books like this. You have to not see the word "mother" and translate it to "myself". If you can do that, there is lots to get out of it.

Oh and I want to live where you do! lol I am so unimpressed with the school system here, it seems all about maintaining the status quo. Unless your child has academic proclivities, then there are lots of charter schools, etc, that are very college prep. But not much for the experiental learner.
