I took charge
I sent out several emails late last night which cleverly ensured that I had other people scurrying around on Monday morning to give ME information, not the other way round.
I have another chaotic week in view - calling and emailing to arrange financial and tax stuff, warehousing and offices, websites, printing special stationery, computers and assorted electricals, office furniture, software... And this was just for today! I did pop out for a little while to get bread too - very mundane.
DH is away again this week so that simplifies things slightly - how sad is that! I need to arrange for us to have a second proper desk in here shortly after he gets home. But before that I need to call the phone company to check out our so-called extension lines that don't seem to work and maybe get them to install an upstairs line that does work. Our ordinary phone doesn't require it for upstairs, but the fax machine does and we need to find out where it will go before we worry about how to organise office furniture. I will also have to get quotes from them on setting up for the proper office when we get it, which will be in with the warehousing. We might want to be able to both work in this room, but we do know it isn't enough for storage, let alone our extra staff.
aren't I supposed to be a housewife?? I guess I'm not that any more, but I'm still a SAHM for now. Sort of! Anyway, I'm learning to cheat more frequently with fresh noodles and ready shredded veg, which is actually not a very expensive meal and shaves almost an hour off preparation compared to other meals.
Kerri.
