I've really become complacent about tornadoes again. It seems like we get directly hit by one about every 10 years and I am nervous for the next couple of years, then I'm over it. Now, when I say direct hit, I mean we have a lot of outdoor damage, a big tree hits something of ours, etc. I've only been in a house that got trees downed on it once. And my office had a tree come through the roof about 5 years ago. So, I really need to "get nervous" on my own & not wait for something to happen. Last night, when the tornado sirens were sounding, I took out the garbage and pushed the cart to the curb. DH didn't like that very much!
