Friday!
I'm here!
...and another pound lighter, according to the scale yesterday! (That's 8lbs in 6 weeks!) I think losing 5 more pounds in the next 4 weeks (before vacation) should definitely be achievable...IF I get up and do some exercise! My original (pesimistic) goal was just to lose 10 lbs before vacation....but since that is well within my sight, I'm "upping the ante" so-to-speak!
Did I tell you that we broke down and bought an XBox so DD11 could have "Dance Dance Revolution" for her birthday? It was all she wanted. DH and I spent quite a bit of time considering alternatives then we did it. The game system (our FIRST-ever) belongs to DH and I but the DDR game and the dance mats (we got 2) are DD11's. The DDS are loving it and dancing up a storm! I'm pathetic at it....but it IS really engaging...you just want to master "one more" combination..."one more" song; move up "one more" level of difficulty...I wouldn't dream of trying it in front of anyone except my DDs and would NEVER be able to compete with DD15's crew (I just don't MOVE that way!
) but it's exactly what we needed to get us up and moving!
Anyway...the plan for March is to pick ONE healthy habit where consistency is a challenge and focus on that this month: drinking water? eating enough fruits and veges? taking medications? getting regular exercise?
Pick-one!
Mine is "to do something EVERY DAY that requires me to break a sweat." (Trust me...that's a good goal for me!)
