I'm impressed

With all you coffee cutters. I'm not ready to give up my coffee fix just yet, I'll put it on my to-do list with the smoking issue. To be dealt with at a later date Sticking out tongue .

Everyone loses weight differently. What works for one person won't work for the next. I love hearing what you're all doing to lose.

I don't do well on a "diet". I start off gung-ho then cheat, cheat, cheat. What works best for me is making a list(love making lists and stroking them off)of items I must eat sometime during that day. I don't tell myself I can't have anything, just that I must consume the listed items. Usually if I eat those listed items I won't really feel like, or crave, the entire pie.

Tomorrow I go and get my hair cut and colored. It will be my second and last transitional cut. I'm growing from a bad "do" to a better "do".

I'm off on a golf trip for 1/2 this month so I'll make no weightloss promises to myself. We have a condo to stay in for this trip so it will be easier to control food intake. Three meals a day eating out off a menu is just trouble. Getting up in the morning and fixing my usual breakfast will be a whole lot better than what we consume when we go out for breakfast. Diner breakfast X 14days = about 1 month or more of recovery. If we control the eats and I get lots of golfing and shopping exercise perhaps I'll have a victory to report at months end.

The fall Italy trip is one I've been waiting on for several years. It's finally going to happen, and yes, it's great motivation to lose some pounds and get my fitness level up. I suspect we'll do *alot* of walking around and sightseeing during the four weeks we're over there. 20-30 pounds would be a real relief for these poor old knees. 50lbs would be even better but I must be realistic right?

It's time to find myself some breakfast. Good old All Bran I'm thinking. Have any of you tried the All Bran cookie bars for some extra fiber? They are quite good.

Onward gals Smiling .
