With regard to special Ed paperwork I put DS's papers in a binder with dividers. Each divider is a category. IEP, IEP progress notes,MFE,correspondence,standardized tests,work samples,misc. The spine of the binder says IEP 2nd-5th grade since I have 1 kid on an IEP one binder for those few years works. You may find a binder for each child is easier. Then when you have an IEP meeting or conference,you grab the appropriate binder and off you go. I just did this this year and it has helped immensely. Jusy my 2 cents....
