I didn't mean it like that....
now that I reread my previous post it does seem like I was rubbing it in a bit....but I didn't mean it, honest
If it's any consolation, I used a different pancake mix (yeah I know) and I didn't like the result much. A big raspberry to Bisquik
The mixture was far too thick for English pancakes and still wasn't right after me thinning it down a bit. Next time it's back to my usual mix, or I might even have to buy flour and make them properly myself. Trouble is, the rest of the flour sits there for months until I throw it out, which is why it's more cost effective for me to use a mix in the first place.

In answer to your question Kerri, the bags are still around. I forgot it was bin day and left two bags in my bedroom, and the charity bag is on the landing where it's been since I started filling it weeks ago. I'll take it to town next time I go, or I might ask my friend to take it to the shop for me, as she is popping in this afternoon.
I had better get cracking, or I won't get that room finished today.....
