why don't you just ease yourself into this by picking ONE task that will reduce the problems you have with your paperwork. Can you find all your bills?? If not, that's probably a good place to start, and if you can't pay them all right away you can at least stack them all up together. Or is there a category of stuff you can throw away, or things you need to shred. Just find SOMETHING. Don't try to fix it all in one day, or even this week. You'll burn out and be at the mercy of the paper monster, instead of being in charge of it.
