oh dear
what a group!!! No wonder we're not getting very far with this. We are ALL being controlled by our lives - even Lenora, which is rather worrying!
I actually didn't know about the OCD Jana. Not that it gives you an excuse mind you, so don't get excited! What form does it take and might it be useful to you clearing up if you did go without your meds!?!?
Just kidding of course. You'd end up off the scale like the rest of us if you did that!
Honey - put the room names in a hat and PICK ONE!!! You are even worse than me! Well, okay... not that bad maybe, but I'm in charge here so I get to bully everyone!!!
that first glass of wine is going down rather nicely!!
*hic*
I've realised that a large portion of the stuff in my garage is actually large empty cardboard boxes that I kept to keep some of the draft out by the front garage door. I can probably lose quite a few of those, squeeze that bed in until someone relieves me of it (rather than letting someone else's timetable dictate my life as usual!) and get the space. I've seen a smallish cheap desk that might be worth looking at (Lidl from Monday Honey) for DH, so if I get it I will want the space quite urgently. Maybe I can even have a semi-functional office going by the time he gets home.
If you've made a big dent in your tax stuff already Jana, good for you. I need to read up on ours, particularly since it will include such lovely subjects as income tax, corporate tax, national insurance, PAYE and VAT to name but a few. I'm glad my dear accountant has acquired the habit of chatting to me on her way home from work because in addition to the more inane parenting chatter we also have some sensible discussions about work and what's going to happen. Whoever said not to work with friends! So far so good, and the moment there's a conflict I know she'd recuse herself (or whatever the accountancy term is) and just give more general advice in an educated friendship role.
But why is it that my closest friends are living in the London area??? What can I do to convince them that they're insane without being rude??
if you've done anything at all today - laundry, taxes, purging bedrooms, even cooking a nutritious meal for your family, give yourself a pat on the back and settle down for the evening with a little treat (can be a bath if you're on a diet!). Lives ebb and flow and we cannot expect to be beavering away productively all the time. Sometimes just getting through the day is a challenege!
Kerri.
