Great Idea Jana!
I really need to do some lists of things that must be done before the trip-at home and at the office.
I would probably feel much more in control if I had a nice couple of lists to check off as I go. Can you tell I love lists?
I am feeling pretty good because I did a bunch of pre-cooking yesterday. I knew it was going to be a very busy week, so I made three meals that just need to be warmed up.
Kerri, I love to listen to music to motivate me. It it a huge help. When I need to clean or so some other dreaded physical task, I listen to the Pure Disco CD or a mix I made of obnoxious women/girl power songs, like Goodbye Earl by the Dixie Chicks and the like. I usually sing loudly too.
For exercise, I have several mix CDs that incluse US military running cadences. I love those. They make me feel very powerful for some reason.
For thinking tasks, I like Celtic instrumental or piano music, or world music in languages I can't understand anyway, but are very upbeat, like the Putumayo CDs.
If I'm stressed out or irritable, I listen to a folk mix I made on itunes. It soothes the savage beast.
OK, off to put on some music and make lists!
