To Start the Week
I had one cup of Kashi Go Lean Cereal and a cup of Simply Smart skim milk. They take some of the water out of the milk, so it's kind of concentrated and therefore supposed to taste richer. It also has more protein and calcium.
I had my usual big cup of coffee with 2 tablespoons of light cream and....splenda (blush). I know that stuff is terrible, but sugar gives me headaches, and I do prefer my coffee sweet. Any suggestions?
I also had an omega3 supplememnt.
I passed my physical on Thursday with flying colors mostly. Blood pressure was great, resting pulse very good, urine glucose great, iron a little low, hearing fine, vision as to be expected for someone who's legally blind, weight not as bad as I thought. Dr. said I was down 22 pounds since last time I was there, and he recommended a loss of only about 18 more pounds, which surprised me. I figured the need was for 25-30.
Dr. also suggested I take a B complex supplement, but I don't remember for what. Does anyone know the value of B vitimins? Oh, and he said he would order the blood test for a determination on the Rhumatoid arthritis whenever I'm ready, although he agrees that's probably it.
Friday I go for an eye exam and to get new glasses, something else I have been putting off.
