Fab yarn works miracles for bad knitting
I was thinking of the Martha one, but when I went to buy the yarn I was amazed at all the weird and wonderful yarns there were to choose from. So I ended up doing very basic scarves, but they look good because of the fab yarn! That's MY kind of knitting
For Mum's scarf I used a green funky fur, I did another in pink eyelash, and others in a kind of feathery yarn, I think it was called plume. Just knitting and purling, nothing fancy. I am a very slow learner - it's taken me about three years to pluck up the courage to knit something other than dishcloths and teacosies!
Thanks for the links Anhata, I'll check those out and let you know how I get on...
