Always nice to hear what others like and use--I'll have to browse through some of these the next time I get to the bookstore. I don't know very many of the individual cooks. Do they have specialties? My husband would probably appreciate anything basic--he sometimes gets tired of all of my experimentation. He never knows what dinner will be!

The Grilling Encyclopedia sounds like a good one to look for. We finally got a grill last summer and I discovered that my cookbook collection was woefully lacking in grilling recipes. I'm starting to fix that now, though.
