Many Thanks to our Vetrans and Service Members
And to those on the "home front" who wait and pray!
The son of our church's choir director has been in Iraq for almost a year. He recently sent us the names of three soldiers in his unit who never get any mail.
I can only imagine how difficult it is to serve when showered with love and support from home...but how much more difficult it must be to be "alone" in a war zone.
We are sending care packages to the unit, too, but If you would like to send a note of support, encouragement and thanks to one of these particular soldiers, "write" me a private message and I'll give you their names and address.
My very favorite vetran will be home from a business trip this afternoon! I'm looking forward to "thanking" him, personaly!
Blessings,
Lenora
