And to those on the "home front" who wait and pray!

The son of our church's choir director has been in Iraq for almost a year. He recently sent us the names of three soldiers in his unit who never get any mail. I can only imagine how difficult it is to serve when showered with love and support from home...but how much more difficult it must be to be "alone" in a war zone.

We are sending care packages to the unit, too, but If you would like to send a note of support, encouragement and thanks to one of these particular soldiers, "write" me a private message and I'll give you their names and address.

My very favorite vetran will be home from a business trip this afternoon! I'm looking forward to "thanking" him, personaly!
