Re: Mom Advice
I cannot say nor judge whether wanting to take care of a family is right or wrong, only you know inside your heart what is right for you and your own personal situation. I know for myself anyway that raising my 2 children as a full time mother challenged me more than any job outside the home ever had before. The important thing for me was that I waited until I had substantial life expereinces and the maturity of age....before I made that leap into full time parenting...One thing that comes to mind when I attempt to answer your request for insight is this...No one can ever prepare you for the exhaustion, and utter shock of how difficult it is to be a mother of a newborn, or young child no one can prepare you for that shock, NOR can anyone prepare you for the INTENSE FEELINGS OF LOVE PROTECTION AND DEVOTION you can feel for your child as well...there is no feeling to describe the utter feelings of deep deep love...that well up when that little one is placed in your arms....I can still remember those feelings and my kids are in college ...Good Luck with your decison...Susan
