we've only made one trip to urgent care for illness -- it isn't fun! someone also recommended to me once to carry a prescription of EMLA cream (it's a topical numbing agent) to have one hand if your child should ever need iv, stitches, etc... My dr. was happy to write a script, but unfortunately i've lost mine after carrying it around for 2 yrs .

I'm so glad that she is doing better! i was just reading a bunch of stuff about relactation in such situations, if you are interested just to get through the flu season i could pass it on
